lovely, my pakistani husband was VERY impressed. I used Gravy Beef, added a bay leaf and a glass of water with the ginger/garlic and boiled until tender. Then followed as usual without the yogurt because i didn't have any. SUPERB!

This recipe is good its more spicy then some of the others which I like but you haveto make sure that you have enough water or whatever you use for moisture so that you can cook the mutton because I found that unless I added water and cooked it longer my goat would turn out very hard and dry6

your recipe is better than others because they boil meat then add the rest .that is not healthy way of cooking , since the stock is evaporarted after boiling and meat loses it s nutrtion value. keep up the good work :)

Salam pplz :). Ok, 1st you have 2 sear the meat in a little ghee until you have some colour on just the outside, we don't want it to cook from frying completely as it will be insanely tough!!. Then pressure cook it on medium heat in sufficient liquid to cover until it's tender. add it to the spices onion ginger chillies and tomato (canned diced tomato with all the juice is best, DON'T add water!!).. For beginners i'd suggest using chicken meat in place of mutton. Mutton & Beef can be tricky as if they are very lean cuts they will require careful cooking, Go low and slow for tender meat that is easy to eat, Otherwise u will end up with something reminiscent to a rubber eraser!!. Pressure cooking is a MUST if you're cooking any type of red meat mutton/goat/beef!!.. I have learned from experience, I have ruined good goat meat by rushing the cooking on too high heat. ~ALLAH HAFIZ~.

TRY NOT PUTTING OIL AT FIRST BUT USE LAMB FAT FROM THE BUTCHER, ADD OIL AFTER 45 MIN OR LAMB IS TENDER

It is good. but if we put oil after it is tender with the ingredients you put first. puting oil first will not allow the ingredients taste to be absorbed.

I'm not sure why people are saying it's disgusting, maybe they made a mistake with it? Anyways, the masala was actually very tasty, but the problem was that it didnt say at which stage to add water...... so of course, there were problems with the mutton being cooked....... apart from that, was pretty tasty.
