Aloo Ki Sabzi recipe by maham.
Famous vegetarian dish that has a dry potato vegetable preparation with spices.


Ingredients
3 large boiled potatoes, two cubed and the other mashed
1 tsp. cumin
a pinch of asafetida (optional)
1 tsp. gingerClick to find more about ginger paste
1 tsp. garlicClick to find more about garlic paste
1 tsp. turmericClick to find more about turmeric
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. saltClick to find more about salt
1/2 tsp. rock saltClick to find more about salt
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1 tbsp. oil
3 green chillies
Chopped cilantro/coriander


Preparation
Heat oil in a frying pan (or skillet) and fry the cumin, asafetida, gingerClick to find more about ginger and garlicClick to find more about garlic for a minute.
Add potatoes, turmericClick to find more about turmeric, chilli powder, saltClick to find more about salt and pepper and a cup of lukewarm water.
Simmer for a couple of minutes, and garnish with green chillies and chopped cilantro/coriander.
