Aloo Ki Sabzi recipe by maham.
Famous vegetarian dish that has a dry potato vegetable preparation with spices.
3 large boiled potatoes, two cubed and the other mashed
1 tsp. cumin
a pinch of asafetida (optional)
1 tsp. ginger paste
1 tsp. garlic paste
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. rock salt
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1 tbsp. oil
3 green chillies
Chopped cilantro/coriander
Heat oil in a frying pan (or skillet) and fry the cumin, asafetida, ginger and garlic for a minute.
Add potatoes, turmeric , chilli powder, salt and pepper and a cup of lukewarm water.
Simmer for a couple of minutes, and garnish with green chillies and chopped cilantro/coriander.
